Lucid is led by CEO Karl Sun, who graduated first in his class at MIT in CS/EE. The development team is led by Ben Dilts, who founded Lucidchart after building another web-based startup from concept to the front page of the Wall Street Journal to profitability. Lucidchart is funded by prominent angel investors and seed funds, including Google Ventures, 500 Startups, K9 Ventures, Mort Meyerson, and numerous Silicon Valley tech founders and executives.
