About WeWork
WeWork was founded in 2010 with the vision to create environments where people and companies come together, get inspired, and do their best work. Since then, we’ve become one of the leading global flexible space providers committed to delivering technology-driven turnkey solutions, flexible spaces, and community experiences.

In 2021, we listed on the New York Stock Exchange, an incredible accomplishment made possible by the collective efforts of our employees and members worldwide.
Life at WeWork
At WeWork, we’re constantly reimagining how space, technology, and community can help our members—from freelancers to Fortune 500s—get more out of their workday. We’re fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit. Together, we strive to learn from each other and grow together, creating solutions that can have a global impact. Here we will help you push your career forward.
Inclusion & Diversity at WeWork
Building a culture of inclusion

The mission of WeWork’s Office of Inclusion is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to be their authentic selves at work. A place where differences are not only valued and respected, but recognized as essential to our success. Here we will continue to take deliberate actions that help strengthen our diversity, build a culture of inclusion, and empower the success of our teams.

Amplifying all voices

We are focused on attracting and hiring a diverse workforce, helping to ensure that people from all backgrounds feel welcome at WeWork. By proactively creating dialogues, forums, and resources about inclusion & diversity, we help foster a culture of conversation.

Core to our culture are our Employee Community Groups (ECGs) which bring employees from around the world together to celebrate unique lived experiences and help further empower our team.

Fostering development and allyship

From new hire training courses, to bespoke mentoring initiatives, and company-wide learning opportunities, the Office of Inclusion delivers developmental programs to help increase understanding and change behaviors.

Notably, 2022 is our year of allyship. Building on our inclusion @ WeWork training which focuses on mitigating the impact of bias, our year of allyship helps employees recognize their privilege and positional power in order to take action to show up as allies.
Our Values
Our five core values are inherent to who we are and what we stand for as a company:

Do the right thing.

We know the “right thing” is a deliberate action we must always take, and that it is based on integrity and builds trust with those who we care about, including our people, members, and our community.

Strive to be better, together.

We’ve always believed that we are better together. We must operate with a shared purpose to constantly improve and grow and to become better as individuals, as teams, and as a company.

Be entrepreneurial.

To reshape the way the world works, we must be bold, act with courage, and demonstrate the resiliency to push ahead no matter the odds or the circumstance.

Give gratitude.

We will not take anyone or anything for granted. We are grateful for our people, members, and our greater community as well as for the opportunities we have in front of us.

Be human and kind.

Collaboration, kindness, and authenticity are essential to our humanity. We must cherish each other and build a community that celebrates each person’s unique talents, passions, and backgrounds.

By embodying our values and putting them into action, we are bringing our mission to life.
WeWork Community Team
From curating events to creating connections, our Community team is tasked with elevating member experiences in a way that makes members feel known and cared for.

Community Associates

Our Community Associates act as the “face” of WeWork and are the primary points of contact for our members. Their mission is to help build a welcoming and collaborative environment that WeWork is known for. Community Associates are instrumental in observing gaps in member experience and transforming them into actionable improvements, thanks to the trust and relationships they build within our community.

Community Leads

Constantly looking for ways to enhance the WeWork member experience, Community Leads help create an extraordinary hospitality environment where our members can feel truly known and cared for. They thrive on problem solving, innovation, and creating efficient processes so members have the comfort and flexibility to work on their passions.

Community Managers

Community Managers own member experience across the buildings in their cluster. They mentor and develop Community Associates and Leads, and partner with leadership and other teams across WeWork to drive operational excellence and overall member satisfaction and retention.
